What Are We Doing to Keep Everyone Safe?

During these very strange times, we are committed to continue to provide our services to our loyal customers. 

Whilst we are currently operating at full capacity. Our call centre are currently working from home to maintain social distancing measures. So it may take a little longer to answer your calls. 

Our call centre operatives will ask you when scheduling appointments whether you, or anyone in your home are currently experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, or if you are self-isolating. If you are, in accordance with Government guidelines, we will unfortunately not be able to attend your home.

We continue to monitor the the most up to date advice and guidance from the Government. Please be aware that this advice may change over time.

A large proportion of our work is with Housing Associations, we will be continually assist them all in meeting their legal requirements. And are in constant contact with them to ensure we are continually abiding and adapting in accordance with Government guidelines. 

What will our Engineers be doing?

The safety of our team and you, our loyal customers is our primary focus during these very strange times. As such we will be operating slightly differently from the norm. To ensure we comply with Government guidelines, we will be asking you additional questions before entering into your home and commencing work. 

  • Before entering your home our engineers will wash or sanitise their hands. Our engineers will be using disposable gloves and cleaning equipment at each appointment. All of our engineers will use a face mask during the appointment.
  • On arrival to your home, the engineer will ask you a number of questions to establish that you are free from symptoms of COVID-19 and that you are not currently isolating.
  • Our engineer will only enter your home if you are able to confirm that you are free from symptoms of the virus.
  • Our engineers will continue to make assessments during the appointment. Our engineers will stop if you are showing visible signs of the virus.
  • They will try to keep at least two metres away from you at all times. We ask that you, and everyone in your home comply with this rule.

What should I do if I come down with symptoms before my appointment?

Keeping everyone safe is our top priority. If anyone in your home develops symptoms of Covid-19 (high temperature, continuous cough, loss of taste/smell in the two weeks before we are scheduled to visit your home, its really important to cancel or reschedule your appointment by calling us at 01908 211 127
